I decided to run the Abington Gobble Wobble course today from memory. I think I took a wrong turn or two, but covered roughly the right distance and met my goal, which was to do a few miles on a hilly road course without slowing up on the hills. I had forgotten just how hilly this part of Abington Township is. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to do this, or some other turkey trot on Thanksgiving. I’ve been doing Abington for years, in fact it was my first 5K when I got back into running, so it’s been a tradition but I’m getting sort of tired of it. Maybe one last Gobble Wobble.
